Message Hi, guys. It's been a while. Here comes summer, and I've got the itch again. My Z is currently down with a few issues, and I'm trying to decide how I want to proceed and wanted to get some opinions.

My '90 white TT needs a new clutch, and last year the Hicas failed and spun me into a guardrail on the interstate, damaging the drivers side rear quarterpanel and tail light a good bit, but no apparent frame damage and it drove fine, except Hicas still twitches.

I built the car for track racing, so now I'm wondering if I want to spend the cash to find a nice shell to swap everything in to and make it a classy car to drive around town, or just repair the damage, delete Hicas, and replace the clutch. The interior of the car is in so-so shape, and the outside is a little rough all around - hood has hail damage, etc, but nothing noticeable from a few feet away. I like the idea of having a nice, clean Z with the ~500hp mine has, but then again, I'm not against sticking with a rougher body and doing some hard track driving on it that might put some more dents in it. Either way, I need to get this dent repaired so I can at least fit a tail light back in it. I can post pics of the damage if anyone is interested.

I'm not sure how much a shell would cost or how hard they are to find. I'm in Louisville, KY, but I have family in South Carolina, so I could purchase a shell around those areas. I've got $4k to spend on the car currently, but I can put away ~$700 a month towards it. Thoughts?
